TRAVEL INFORMATION

Check with the local bus company ‘Liberty Bus”. It is best to arrange your journey home prior to coming to the event, check bus times, taxi services and ensure to leave in plenty of time to get home safely. You can drop off and pick up at the Car Park next to Les Jardins de la Mer.

VEHICLE PARKING

There is a car park adjacent to the venue at Les Jardins de la Mer.

TICKETS & ENTRY TO EVENTS

Please read the show information when purchasing your tickets at www.rockit.je

Upon entry, please have your ticket ready for inspection and scanning. You cannot leave the event unless in extreme circumstances. Please retain your ticket if printed, as re-entry is not possible without it. You will enter bag search first and then proceed to the accreditation where you may be wrist banded dependent upon the show.

WRISTBANDS

Do not lose or try to remove your wristband. They can’t be replaced and if they have been tampered with, you may be evicted.

YOUNG CHILDREN

Please see the age requirement when purchasing your ticket. If you do want to bring young children along we suggest ear protection, and supervision is required at all times.

If aged 16 years & below you need to be accompanied by an adult of 18 years or over. It is not recommended to bring children 5 years & under to the event as their hearing is under-developed & amplified music could potentially cause damage.

AGE RESTRICTIONS & VALID ID

Please bring ID if you look under 25 years old and remember legally there is no automatic right to be served alcohol. Service is always at the discretion of the licensee for whatever reason they decide, and the licensee is under no obligation to explain the reason.

Please bring the original proof of ID. However, we suggest using YOTI to prove your age, you can also verify people you meet online, prove your identity to businesses, log in to websites without passwords, and more. YOTI will eliminate the risk of losing important documents such as your Passport or Driving License. Visit: https://www.yoti.com

 WHAT YOU CANNOT BRING?

Do not bring Glass, Soft Drinks, Alcohol, Food, Animals (other than registered hearing dogs or guide dogs), Aerosols over 250ml, Fireworks, Flares, Airhorns. Cans, Chairs, Drones. Any goods for unauthorised trading or with unauthorised Rockit logos, Bags larger than A4 size. Any items which may reasonably be considered for use as a weapon (includes any item which may cause danger, offence or disruption to any other person.

You may be searched at the entrance and upon exit.

WHAT YOU CAN BRING?

Please wrap up! The waterfront area can get cold in December evenings. A cloakroom service will be available for all guests.

LOST PROPERTY

Write down you mobile phone IMEI number on a piece of paper prior to coming to the event, not in your phone’s notes! If you have an iphone, install the Find My iPhone App in advance. This will help get your phone back to you.

Not sure how to find your IMEI number? Just write “how to find IMEI number” in google!

Any lost property remaining after the event will be held by the organisers who can be contacted at info@rockit.je. Please hand in any lost property at the bars.

 

ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES

Get rid of them before you come to the Spiegeltent. Do not attempt to bring illegal substances on site as you stand a very real chance of being caught and subsequently arrested. The same applies to anything that is deemed to be an offensive weapon.

DRINKING RESPONSIBLY

Alcohol dehydrates!! If drinking alcoholic drinks, please ensure you do so responsibly. Pace yourself and top up throughout the event with plenty of water or soft drinks to stay hydrated. For more information, please visit www.drinkaware.co.uk.

Do not drink and drive, it endangers the lives of yourself and others and you risk losing your license!

The organisers strongly recommend that people travelling to the event, use public buses or designate a non-alcohol drinking driver to be responsible for your car journeys.

CONDUCT

Unsociable behaviour will not be tolerated, and it will result in eviction from the event. Anyone attempting to throw projectiles will be arrested immediately and prosecuted. Please respect other attendees and security/stewards.

LITTER

Please keep Les Jardins de la Mer tidy. Be responsible not to create litter! There are plenty of bins provided on site, so please use them!

Respect the areas surrounding Les Jardins de la Mer and use the bins to dispose of any litter.

TOILETS

Please ensure to respect people using the toilet after you by keeping it clean, as you would like to find it.

WEATHER & SOUND

Be sure to wear warm clothes as British winters can be very cold. Please be aware that prolonged exposure to amplified sound may cause permanent hearing damage. 

OUR NEIGHBOURS

The organisers are extremely privileged to be able to use Les Jardins de la Mer and would like to continue to do so year after year. Your help is needed to keep the local community happy. Please ensure you leave the event quietly.

Do not litter the roads or surrounding area.

Do not park vehicles in any of the nearby roads. Apart from causing an annoyance to the residents, you will be towed away by the local authority representatives.

RESIDENT TICKETS

There are no tickets for local residents available.

AUTHORISED TICKETS AND FRAUD PREVENTION

Only purchase tickets via the Rockit website. We monitor the internet, however the best way to prevent fraud is to not risk buying from unauthorised sources.
